Who are we?

Caitlin Botsios serves as Co-Founder and Chief Innovation Officer for Helix. She comes to Helix with a background in local and global education along with the nonprofit sector. Prior to Helix, Caitlin served as a teacher, educator coach, and adult professional development director. Caitlin is a member of Teach For All's Global Teacher Development Community of Practice, active in Leadership for Educational Equity, and a Chicago Local School Council Community Representative for North-Grand High School. Caitlin holds her B.A. in Sociology and Communication Studies from Loyola University Chicago and Master’s in Teaching from Dominican University



Sean Connolly serves as Co-Founder and Chief Entrepreneurial Officer for Helix. His background is in student run entrepreneurship programming at Loyola University Chicago. Prior to Helix, Sean served as the Assistant Director for Loyola Limited, Loyola University Chicago’s student run business program and served as Director of Neighborhood Initiatives at the University. Sean serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Illinois Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and coordinates the organization’s LGBTQ outreach. He is also a commissioner on Special Service Area 54 in Rogers Park, where he remains committed to accessible entrepreneurial education and equitable development. Sean has his B.A. in Political Science and Masters in Business Administration from Loyola University Chicago.
